English, yes, for our american visitors.

First ride: Jorgen, Jorn, Geir(BikingViking), one ugly american and Kevin. Paul had to sit at home as the stupid airline couldn't bring his bike or luggage to Norway in the same time they got him here.

I had to abandon the rest after 4 hours, but I guess Geir can post some pics later from the last part of the ride.

Here goes...

Geir, the guide, gets a puncture. You would tink he had been riding in the woods before and knew about this stuff, but no. The ugly american can't believe it!! :-D

On top of that he manages to loose his brakepads, and spring. Fear not, mighty Kevin picks out something from deep inside his backpack.

Pete and Kevin on their way to Gråkallskrenten. Pete doesn't know right here, that he is about to make his sickest move ever, but noone gets in on camera!

Geir has survived Skrenten once again!

Jorn makes Skrenten for the second time! His first time was two minutes earlier! Good riding Jorn!

Jorn is in the zone and chooses the tighter stair-line in the end.

One ugly american riding pretty fast down Henriksåsen

Pete and Geir cruising on "The Snake, part one, reversed".

Both Kevin and Jorn gets a pinchflat, and a dinged rim. one week earlier I had to clean this "hole" cause someone had tried to make it easier.

Pete shows us where... :-) learn to ride guys :-D

24 degrees, one svim, great riders from two different parts of the world. Great ride guys, hope you get the same weather the rest of the week. It bugs that I can't join you!

Have a nice stay!!

Nice situation photos, Jorgen <img src="/forum/arena/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The last part of the ride (blueberry, raspberry etc.) was also a winner. The americans were smiling from ear to ear. And Pete's finish down towards the road at Ila was SPECTACULAR!

Thanks, Jørgen. Your pictures and comments sat really well with the ugly americans. Thanks for doing the whole thing in English. The caption on the first one generated some big laughs.

Paul and I drove to Værnes around midnight and found Paul's bike sitting there as per Continental Airlines promise. There was no way we could get through to KLM arrival service on the phone, so we just drove out there. The cute Securitas security guard was OK with us taking it (no claim tickets shown or anything, just an honest face) and Paul is desperately putting it together now whith one of my lights attached to the NR explorer headband.

Here are my few pictures from today's ride. It's kind of nice to show off your local trails to vistors when they are in a better condition than you've ever seen them yourself. Yes, and the weather was cooporating.

Pinchflatville

The culprit. Ask Geir_sint about this one.

Those Turner bikes don't even need a pilot
